As an organisation, Group 4 Technology (G4Tec) have always taken our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously. This year, our priority has been to establish an effective community programme focusing on supporting young people through their educational, sporting and personal development.  Whilst no young people are to be excluded, the aim of the policy is to focus on individuals who are disadvantaged, in terms of disability, educational achievement, financial status or family circumstance. 

 

In support of the programme we have been building much closer links with local schools to provide work experience opportunities and industrial placements.  A range of Achievement Awards will also be established and we are entering into sponsorship arrangements, providing staff to support school projects.

 

Working closely in conjunction with the Avon Vale and Worcester & Hereford Training Groups, this September sees the first apprentices join the Company marking the start of the G4Tec Modern Apprenticeship Scheme
